Falling trees, rogue vehicles, ice dams and other perils may cause structural damage to your home or business. Repairs to the structure can also require repair to several other elements of your home, including roofing, windows, electrical, HVAC, siding etc.

One of the most common misconceptions of these claims is that all the damage will be immediately apparent, or that it will present itself immediately after the loss. Oftentimes dormant damage may not present itself until after the settling of the property and or the rebounding of the structure. These damages may be first noticed by seeing additional cracks in walls, sagging in paneling or wall finishing materials. Signs of this type of damage also include shifting doors and windows that may not operate as they did before the loss. est
